Hastings Sunrise Neighbourhood

Sunrise Views is part of the up-and-coming Hastings-Sunrise neighbourhood along the Hastings corridor in East Vancouver. Like most Vancouver neighbourhoods, it has its own unique feel and characteristics. Hastings-Sunrise has focused its rays on independent food establishments - it boasts a large and varied collection of locally owned restaurants and small markets along its uphill rise from Nanaimo to Boundary - along with being home to the Pacific National Exhibition fairgrounds and Hastings Park racetrack.

Mostly a quiet, heavily residential area, Hastings-Sunrise is poised to make its debut as a new hot spot as it is one of the last hidden (and affordable!) gems in the city of Vancouver. Many different green spaces dot the landscape of the neighbourhood from small spaces like Callister Park to the waterfront New Brighton Park. In addition, there are a good number of associations with their eye on revitalizing the area through improving the public spaces and bolstering the local businesses.
